Flexible deployment across compatible standalone XR hardware

EHSVRT’s hardware-flexible strategy helps organizations select a standalone XR ecosystem based on security, IT policy, budget, fleet management, and the training environment.

The deployment principle

Turnkey systems arrive configured for training.

A complete EHSVRT station is intended to arrive configured around the training module and your selected hardware. Learners should not need a gaming PC, an improvised collection of accessories, or expert knowledge of consumer VR.

  • Standalone headset and controllers
  • Licensed, preconfigured EHSVRT training
  • Protective transport and storage case
  • Charging and hygiene equipment
  • Quick-start and administrator documentation
  • Initial provisioning and technical support

Potential hardware ecosystems

Hardware options are evaluated for each deployment.

Final support is confirmed for each training module and specific device. Compatibility depends on the application, operating system, controls, and operational requirements.

PathWhy organizations consider itDeployment notes
Meta QuestAccessible standalone hardware with a broad installed base and familiar ecosystem.Often a strong starting point for pilots and cost-conscious deployments. Organizational account and management requirements are reviewed during scoping.
PICO EnterpriseEnterprise-oriented device options for organizations seeking an alternative to Meta hardware.Device availability, region, management platform, and specific application compatibility must be confirmed.
HTC VIVEPremium enterprise XR options with hardware and management choices for specialized requirements.Appropriate model and application support are selected around performance, tracking, and operational needs.
Customer-supplied hardwareUse an existing compatible fleet and avoid buying another headset for each training module.EHSVRT reviews the device model, OS, controls, management environment, and required capabilities before licensing.

Train where the work happens

Offline operation for facilities with limited connectivity.

Core scenarios can be designed for offline operation at factories, jobsites, remote facilities, training labs, and controlled environments. When a deployment includes reporting, results can be prepared to synchronize when approved connectivity becomes available.

01

Portable

Move a complete station between classrooms, facilities, or field locations.

02

Standalone

Run without a tethered workstation or dedicated gaming computer.

03

Manageable

Plan provisioning, updates, kiosk use, and support around the selected fleet.

04

Integrable

Add xAPI, LMS/LRS, reporting, and records options where the program requires them.

Planning with IT and EHS

Plan device management and training operations together.

The right answer depends on more than headset price. We scope who owns the devices, where they live, how they update, whether accounts are required, how results move, and what happens when connectivity is unavailable.
